Attribute types group financial information for analytical purposes.
Sage provides several attribute types that you can activate or deactivate.
When you activate an attribute type, it automatically displays as an option for default attributes on other pages such as Company, Site, or Customer. If an attribute type is not active, it does not display.
- Business Site
- Customer
- Employee
- Financial Site
- Item
- Manufacturing Site
- Project: Activate this attribute to enable the task attribute.
- Stock Site
- Supplier
- Task: To activate this attribute, the project attribute must already be active.
You cannot create or delete attribute types.
Activate or deactivate an attribute type
You cannot modify or delete attribute types. You can only change the active status. Deactivating an attribute type prevents attributes being assigned to it.
- Select the attribute type in the selection panel.
- Change the status and save.
Sage Intacct integration
If you integrate with Sage Intacct, you need to make sure the project module is enabled. Tasks are managed in Sage Intacct.
