Allergen

Use this page to define substances used in your organization that are required to be declared to your customers as allergens.

Create an allergen

1. To add a new allergen, select Create from the main view or the Create icon in the split view.

2. Enter the Name of the substance that can cause an allergic reaction, then give your allergen an ID.

   Food allergen information helps food businesses such as producers, manufacturers, packers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and caterers provide information to consumers.

3. Add a Pictogram that communicates the allergen visually.
4. Save your allergen.

Edit or delete an allergen

You can edit the Name of the allergen.

You can change the Pictogram to a different symbol to communicate the allergen visually.

You can only delete an allergen record that has not been assigned to an item.
