Field descriptions: Item category

This page describes the fields for the Item category page.

Field	Description
Allergen	A checkbox that indicates items that are assigned to this category are classified as an allergen. It displays the Allergen tab on an item record when this category is selected.
GHS classification	A checkbox that indicates items that are assigned to this category have a GHS classification. It displays the GHS classification tab on an item record when this category is selected.
ID	The ID of the category.
Item ID sequence number	The sequence number name and ID.
Name	The name of the category.
None	A checkbox that indicates items that are assigned to this category are not classified as an allergen and do not have a GHS classification.
Sequence number management	Activates the management of sequence numbers associated to the category. If it’s switched on, any item that shares the category displays an ID associated to the sequence number you select from the Sequence number field.
