Delivery mode

Use this page to define the transport methods used to deliver items to the customer. For example: By air, mail, rail, road, or sea.

Delivery modes are used in the Customer page. In the Shipping tab of the Customer page, you can link a delivery mode to a customer's ship-to address. This delivery mode is used by default in sales documents.

Create a delivery mode

1. To define a new delivery mode, select Create.
   
2. Enter an ID, a name, and a description for the delivery mode.
3. Leave the Active switch on to make the record active.
4. Save.

Edit or delete a delivery mode

You can edit any of the fields at any time.

You cannot delete a delivery mode that is used in a customer's ship-to address and sales documents.
