Entity use

This page displays the entities uploaded from Avalara.

These entities are tax exempt based on specific factors, such as address. You can add entities manually if needed as long as they exist in AvaTax.

Add an entity

In most cases, entities are provided by Sage or are populated by uploading directly from Avalara. You can add an entity manually if needed.

1. Select Create.
2. Enter the entity name and ID as they appear in Avalara.
3. Add a description for your reference.
4. New entities are active by default.

Delete an entity

You can delete an entity, though it is not recommended.
