Field descriptions: Reports
This page describes the fields on the Report page. The fields are listed in alphabetical order.
| Active template |
If a report has multiple templates, only one is active. |
| Description |
A unique description of the report. |
| Factory |
A checkmark indicates a report delivered by Sage. Except for the Active template field, this type of report cannot be modified. |
| Name |
A unique name that does not contain spaces or special characters. |
| Parent package |
This is the primary data source for the report. |
| Report type |
A report can be a printed document or an email. |

| Definition locale |
The language and related formatting. |
| Name |
A unique name that does not contain spaces or special characters. |
| Page orientation |
It can be portrait or landscape. |
| Paper format |
The paper size when printed. |
| Report type |
A report can be a printed document or an email. |
| Type |
It can be a form or a list report. |
Variables tab
| Data type |
For a reference variable, the related data type. |
| Is mandatory |
Indicates if the variable is required for the report template. |
| Variable name |
The variable name using camelCase formatting. |
| Variable title |
The title defaults from the name, but can be changed. |
| Variable type |
The type of variable such as reference or boolean. |
