Time tracking inquiry

Time tracking contributes to the cost of producing an item for a work order. You can inquire on tracked time on this page and on the Time tracking line inquiry page.

  • Use this page to check the status of generated time trackings and which resource tracked time and quantities for an operation for a work order, and to view individual time tracking documents.
  • Use the Time tracking line inquiry page when you need visibility of all your time tracking data at line level.

Inquire on tracked time

The information in the main list is display-only and cannot be modified. To inquire on a time tracking record for a work order, you need to enter or select the time tracking reference to inquire upon. You can take advantage of standard grid options like sorting, by displaying table filters, and selecting which columns you want to display to filter for your time tracking record.

If you have a significant number of time tracking references, apply filters to refine your search results.

In the Operations grid, if the resource completed the operation sequence number, the Completed checkbox is selected.

Select the Dimensions icon to view attributes and dimensions for managing business rules and analyzing and tracking labor costs for the production operations using analytical accounting data.

Export

When you export the Time tracking inquiries main list, only those lines displayed in the search or filtered results are included in the export. This includes all lines across multiple pages if you have a large data set.

There are 2 export options: Excel or CSV. The default file name is Time tracking inquiries.

After exporting the data, you can rename the file and edit the Excel spreadsheet or CSV file if needed before uploading to your accounting solution.
