Field descriptions: Stock count

Field Description
Counter

This is a free-format comment field.

When more than one stock count record has been created for a site you can use this field to add a manual count reference or count number to track the status of the total stock count results.

Date The actual stock count date.
Description The stock count result set reference.
Number

The stock count number.

Site

The stock site or warehouse name for the stock count.

Status

The stock count status.

Closed: The stock count is complete. The counted quantities for each stock count line and any serial numbers observed during the count have been entered and posted to stock, and the stock journal entry has been created.

Counted: The physical stock count is complete for the requested Date. The counted quantities for each stock count line and the observed serial numbers have been entered. The counted quantities are not yet posted to stock.

Count in progress: The physical stock count has started. A Counted quantity has been entered for one or more stock count lines.

To be counted: The physical stock count has not yet started.

Stock status

The item-site status.

Draft: The item-site status is Count in progress. The item is only available for a stock transaction after the count Status is Closed.

Completed: The item-site status is clear. The item is available for a stock transaction.

To item

The range of stock item names at the Site or warehouse included in the stock count results set.

The same item code is in the From item and To item fields if the count is for a single stock item.

If blank, all stock items stored at the Site or warehouse were considered for the stock count.

Items not counted as of

If a date is displayed, only stock items stored at the Site or warehouse that were last counted before the displayed date or have never been counted were considered for the stock count.

If blank, all stock items stored at the Site or warehouse were considered for the stock count, regardless of when they were last counted.

Location

The list of locations in the storage zones at the Site or warehouse included in the stock count results set.

If blank, all storage locations were considered for the stock count.

Zone

The list of storage zone names in the Site or warehouse included in the stock count results set.

If blank, all storage zones in the Site or warehouse were considered for the stock count.

Document lines grid

Field Description
Counted quantity

The physical counted quantity of the item for the specific stock count line.

Expiration date The date after which the items in the lot should not be used.
Item

The stock item code.

Location

The specific location in the storage Zone the item is stored in.

Lot

The identification number or batch code for the item.

Lot management is only possible if the Item is managed by lot on the Item record.

Lot number

The identification number or batch code of the item lot.

Lot management is only possible if the Item is managed by lot on the Item record.

Name

The stock item name.

Owner The stock site code.
Quantity variance The difference between the expected Stock quantity and the physical Counted quantity.
Quantity variance % The difference between the expected Stock quantity and the physical Counted quantity as a percentage.
Serial number

The progress of serial numbers entered and confirmed as observed and counted, as a percentage of the expected quantity of serial numbers.

The progress line compares the quantity of Serial numbers added in the Serial numbers panel with the Counted quantity.

Status

The stock item count status.

Counted: A counted quantity has been entered for the stock count line. If the item is serial-numbered, all serial numbers observed during the count have been added to the stock count line.

Stock count in progress: The physical count for the stock count line has started. A counted quantity has been entered but the count is not yet complete. If the item is serial-numbered, there is a discrepancy between the number of serial numbers added to the count and the Counted quantity of the item.

To be counted: Either a counted quantity has not yet been entered for the stock count line or the serial numbers, if the item is serial-numbered, have not yet been added to the stock count line.

Excluded: The stock count line does not need to be counted.

Status

The inspection and quality assurance rating of the item for the specific stock count line.

Stock quantity

The expected quantity of the Item.

The total of the Available and Allocated stock at the Site.

The quantity is expressed in the Stock unit defined for the item.

Sublot number The subdivision of the lot. A sublot is for the same item as the lot but might be in a different location at the stock Site, have a different status, and a different quantity to the lot.
Supplier lot number For purchased items, the lot number provided by the supplier. This can be different from your lot number.
Unit cost The cost of the difference between the expected Stock quantity and the physical Counted quantity.
Zone

The zone name in the stock Site or warehouse.

Displayed when you select Add line from the Document lines grid.

Field Description

Serial numbers panel

Displayed when you select Serial numbers from the More actions icon for a serial-numbered stock item.

Serial number information is only available if the Item is managed with serial numbers on the Item record.

Remaining quantity The quantity of serial numbers not yet confirmed as observed and counted.
Required quantity The physical counted quantity of the item for the specific stock count line.
Selected quantity

The confirmed observed and counted serial numbers.

Serial numbers to be issued The difference between the expected Stock quantity and the physical Counted quantity.

Serial numbers grid

Field Description
From serial number

The serial number or the lowest of a range of serial numbers observed and counted for the specific stock count line.

Quantity

The quantity of sequential serial numbers observed and counted for the specific stock count line.

1 if the stock items have ad hoc serial numbers.
To serial number This serial number is updated automatically. It displays the last serial number of a range of sequential serial numbers or the From serial number if the Quantity is 1.

Defines default and individual attributes and dimensions for managing business rules and analyzing and tracking the stock item costs using analytical accounting data.

The Channel dimension name.

The Department dimension name.
