Customer price reason

Use this page to define the reasons for a price being defined for an item in the Customer page, or for a customer in the Item page.

You can also assign priorities to the reasons, the priorities are applied in ascending order, so the lower the number, the higher the priority. This lets you create a hierarchy of prices for the same customer, item, date, and quantity ranges so that those with the highest priority are used in preference to those with lower priorities.

Create a customer price reason

  1. To define a new customer price reason, select Create.
  2. Enter an ID, a name, a priority, and a description for the customer price reason.
  3. Leave the Active switch on to make the record active.
  4. Save.

Edit or delete a customer price reason

You can edit any of the fields at any time.

You cannot delete a customer price reason that is used for a customer.
