Mapping

You can view the synchronization details with Sage Intacct. Sage delivers a default setup.

After an initial setup, you need to perform a manual data synchronization between the 2 solutions.

The main list displays all objects mapped between the solutions. Select a line to view details for that object.

Mapping tab

This tab displays details for a selected object such as:

  • Sage Intacct objects and transactions
  • The Node factory, which represents the core data source for this object.
  • If Smart event is on or off
  • If Include private is on or off; switch on to include all accounts in a multi-entity general accounting (MEGA) structure.
  • Synchronization direction: Both, Inbound, Not sent, or Outbound
  • Mass import status: This checkbox only displays if you created a batch task for importing data.

GL account mapping

If you do not have the Project module in Sage Intacct, you need to modify the GL account Sage Intacct object.

In the Fields grid, delete isRequiredProject from the Sage DMO property column.

If not, you receive a synchronization error.

Fields grid

This grid display attributes for the object being sychronized with Sage Intacct.

The Editable column indicates which fields can be edited. Only fields with this column selected can be modified.

The Description, Required, Data type, and Read-only columns are hidden, but can be displayed using the Column settings panel.

Default property displays the standard value if the field was renamed.

Synchronize data

When you synchronize data between the 2 solutions, you create objects that exist in one solution that originated in the other. See master data for more information.

When you integrate finance documents, they are processed asynchronously to improve performance.

You can monitor the journal entry integration status on the Integration page and sort by Master data or Finance.
Test your connection before synchronizing data.
