Production tracking line inquiry
You can inquire on tracked production receipts on the Production receipt inquiry page and on this page.
Use this page when you need visibility of all your production tracking data at line level.

Analyze production tracking data
The information in the main list is display-only and cannot be modified. It provides visibility of all production tracking data at line level.
You can take advantage of standard grid options like sorting, by displaying table filters, and selecting which columns you want to display to filter or to analyze the production tracking data.
From the results you can open the following:
- The tracking documents
- The work order documents
- The bills of material: To view the list of components in the finished items
- The routings associated with the finished items: To view the individual operations used to build or maintain the items or bills of material and which machines, tools, and operators were used in the production process.
In the Stock status field, select Error to view the reason the production tracking failed to post the stock receipt.
Select the Costs icon for a line to view additional work in progress costs associated with the tracked item.
Export
When you export the main list, only those lines displayed in the search or filtered results are included in the export. This includes all lines across multiple pages if you have a large data set.
There are 2 export options: Excel or CSV. The default file name is $navigationPanel.
After exporting the data, you can rename the file and edit the Excel spreadsheet or CSV file if needed before uploading to your accounting solution.
Stock status: Error
In the main list, if the Stock status displays Error, select the Production tracking link.
- In the production receipt details, select Error to view the reasons the production tracking posting failed.
- In the Items grid, in the Stock status column, select Error to view the reason the received item stock receipt failed.
You need to resolve the issue and re-post the tracking record so that your work order and stock records are updated. Select Post from the production receipt document.
Example Stock status errors
Stock transaction error | Solution |
---|---|
Any stock transaction is forbidden for the [released item] item on the [production site] site because a count is in progress. |
This error is displayed if a stock count is in progress for the finished item at the stock site. When a stock count is started, all stock movement transactions for the items on the stock count record are blocked. You can only receive stock from production for the work order after the count quantity is entered on the stock count and the stock count is posted. |
The number of serial numbers assigned needs to match the quantity for the line. Add serial numbers to match the quantity. |
This error is displayed if there is a discrepancy between the received item quantity and the assigned quantity of serial numbers. You need to allocate and post more serial numbers.

Production tracking only updates work orders and receives the finished items into stock when the production tracking is generated. This error is displayed if the production tracking posting failed to register the stock allocations. This might be because the stock allocations on the production tracking were used for a different stock allocation transaction between entering the production tracking allocations and saving the production tracking.
