Tip |
After a work order is closed, you can view the indirect costs and variances. While these costs are not specifically work in progress costs, they are displayed on this page because the costs are not available from the other work in progress tracking types. |
Restrictions |
On this page you can only view the cost of individual trackings. To view a summary of costs by work order, use the Work in progress inquiry page. |
Inquire on work in progress
The main list displays tracked quantities and costs for individual work orders. The information is display-only and cannot be modified. It scrolls continuously. You can take advantage of standard list options like sorting columns, applying filters, grouping columns, viewing subtotals for grouped columns, and selecting which columns you want to display. You can open a tracking document and a work order from a link in the grid.
If you have a significant number of work orders in progress, apply filters to refine your search results.
Export
You can select Export to download all lines displayed in the main list or filtered results. There are 2 export options: Excel or CSV. The default file name is prefixed work-in-progress-cost.
To export only individual records, select the records you want to export, then select the Export icon. A window opens where you can select a specific template to export your data if additional templates other than the default template exist. The default file name is prefixed work-in-progress-transaction-inquiry.
You can access the exported data from the Notification center.
After exporting the data, you can rename the file and edit the Excel spreadsheet or CSV file if needed before uploading to your accounting solution.
