Field | Description |

Active |
The switch to turn a container on or off. A new container is active, by default. |
Container type |
The type of container. For example, box, pallet, barrel. Standard container types are supplied with your system. |
ID |
The code that identifies the container. You could use prefixes to help with ease of selection such as BAG (bag), TAN (tank), PAL (pallet), and TUB (tube), for example. |
Internal |
The container is only used internally, if selected. The container might have a sequence number that identifies it. The container can be used in the logistics chain, if clear. That is, it can be used to receive items from a supplier and to ship items to a customer. |
Label format | The format of the reference or ID to be assigned to the container. |
Name | The name of the container. |
Required storage capacity |
The capacity of the container required for the intended product. The intended product can use less than the Storage capacity of the container but not more than the maximum Storage capacity. |
Sequence number |
The name of the predefined internal sequence number format. The field is only available for selection if the Internal checkbox is selected. If you are using sequential numbers, the components that make up the structure of the generated number are determined by the assigned sequence number. Use the Compteur function to view the individual components, length, and any constants in the number. |
Single item |
The container can only store a single type of item, if selected. The container can store multiple types of items, if clear. |
Single lot |
The container can only store a single lot, if selected. The container can store multiple lots, if clear. |
Storage capacity | The maximum capacity of the container. |
